When I was little I really disliked my name. Or rather the very Swedish letter Å and all the questions that went with it…

But after long years of searching I’ve finally found an explanation that sticks:

Å sounds kind of like ‘awe’. Which means my name is pronounced pretty much like ‘awesome’, without the ‘m’. Heh.

And it get’s better. The ancient nordic meaning of the name is ‘goddess’.

So nowadays I’m quite happy with my name 🙂
